Ford Expedition Powerstroke Poll Posed Left Side

Now I know what you're all thinking, this is just a rumor or wild speculation. Well that is only partly true. We have been hearing through the grapevine for a while now that a 4.5 liter version of the popular Ford turbodiesel engine existed. Of course this was just hearsay and nobody would confirm or deny it. But just what would they put the new 4.5 liter V-8 diesel engine in? Why the Expedition of course! One of the biggest questions facing automakers is always "Will they buy it?" Well now is your chance to tell Ford that yes, we want a diesel Expedition in their online poll.

In this poll Ford asks for you to price out your perfect 2007 Expedition. On the "Future Options" page we see an option for the 4.5 liter V-8 diesel, and the option price for this is shown as a mere $2,500. The 4.5 liter diesel engine is said to have 300+ horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque and get 3-5 miles per gallon better fuel economy on average compared to the 5.4 liter gas engine.

So click the link and configure your own perfect 2007 Ford Expedition and help us tell Ford, "YES! WE WANT A DIESEL EXPEDITION!"
