Dirt-Ready Super Duty
Donahoe Racing Enterprises has announced that Team Donahoe recently finalized plans to campaign a Ford Super Duty in Best in the Desert (BITD) events.
Team Donahoe-now an active participant in Ford Truck Motorsports Technical Exchange program-will build a brand-new '05 Ford F-350 4WD Diesel Super Duty. It will be equipped with Donahoe Racing's new '05 Ford Super Duty suspension system. The new '05 will compete in the Best in the Desert Stock Fullsize Pickup Class 8100, beginning with the Nevada 1000 in July 2005.
The rough terrains of the Nevada desert serve as one of the best proving grounds for complete vehicles and Donahoe Racing's suspension systems. "Racing the Ford Super Duty will provide Team Donahoe with the opportunity to confirm the robustness of our '05 suspension system. Racing this Super Duty is a perfect platform for us. Our biggest product line of performance suspension is for the Ford Super Duty. It's unbelievable how much torture we put these trucks through when we race them. We are very excited to team up with Ford. Team Donahoe will use this opportunity to get some great feedback, to be able to run a product we sell and really prove it out in the desert is great!" says Kreg Donahoe, president of Donahoe Racing.
